Robyn Forbes is a portrait and animal artist based in Forfar, Scotland, specialising in capturing lasting memories of loved ones. She comfortably switches between watercolours and coloured pencils depending on the requirements of her commissions. Watercolours feature heavily in her portraiture work as she feels the transparency of the medium combined with careful building of washes captures the softness of skin and brings life to the work.

A Grey's School of Art graduate who has been passionate about all things nature for much of her life. More so now that family days out often include nature trails and animal spotting. Her family Labrador features heavily in some of her sample work and is a firm feature by side when working in her home studio.
